Home Decor- Halloween Edition

I’ve always been a fan of holidays, so getting into the spooky spirit of Halloween with our home decor was no exception.

In keeping with the black and white theme at the front of our house chose a few simple decor pieces to really make a statement.

Black flower pots: (Homesense) Striped Pillows (The Bay), Bench Cushion Pad (Ikea), Conversation Set (Walmart), I updated the red cushions to black from Homesense, Door Mat (Winners), Black Lanterns (Jysk)

The pampas grass I picked wild from a local field. These can cost you a lot at a florist so this is a really inexpensive way to add some trendy decor. All I had to buy was the two metal containers to put the bunches in. I picked these up from Dollarama for $2.50 each.
I love a good DIY and I saved HUGE on purchasing a pre-made wreath by making my own. Last year I picked up this wreath from Hobby Lobby for $3.00 along with a few of the stems for under $2.00 each. I added some faux flowers from Dollarama along with some more of the pampas grass. The “Hello Pumpkin” wreath hook was a Target find.

Make an entrance by adding a few festive pieces that easily transformed our entryway for Halloween, all while keeping with our decor style.

Oval storage Basket: (Canadian Tire), Rectangle Baskets: Homesense, Decorative Ceramic Balls (old Pier 1), Small gold pumpkins (Dollarama)

I found a large pack of these black bats from Dollarama which I was able to use both inside and out! I love how this turned out!
The console table was a Homesense find, along with the arched mirror, gold vase and green stems. I found the velvet leopard pumpkins last year at Winners and just knew I had to have them!
The views from our living room, my favourite spot in the house!
The “Hey Boo” pillow was a Marshalls find and was a fun way to add some Halloween decorations into our home while keeping with the rest of the style of the room.
For every holiday I always love to dress up the bar cart. Styling it can be so much fun! I had a few leftovers bad that I added, some fun sequin pumpkins from Target and a perfectly pink ceramic pumpkin (Winners) on top!

The tall vase is an oldie from Pier 1, and the pumpkins are from Target and Homesense! I switch out these stems (Pier 1) once we go into spring with some green stems but I just love these ones for Fall/Christmas.
Nilly’s favourite place to lie, cozied up in front of the fire (I don’t blame her)
