How To Style Slogan/Band Tees

How To Style Slogan/Band Tees

Slogan tees/ band tees, have been around forever, but they have increasingly become popular fashion pieces, and the days of them only being worn at concerts are over. Taking one look at the street style during fashion week, you will see this trend popping up everywhere, with tees paired on their own, or underneath a leather jacket or blazer.

I thought I would give the look a try, and I will definitely be styling my band tees like this more often. It’s a great way to add a little edgy style to your everyday look.

These tees can be worn any season, paired with a jacket or blazer if its cool, or on its own with jeans or distressed denim shorts in the warmer months! Adding a leather element to this piece instantly amps up your rock and roll status!

Pairing the slogan tee with a pair of black pants and pumps instantly amps up a casual look.

Add polish to your easygoing tee look by adding a blazer.  I loved the pop of red that tied together the red slogan on the tee.

If you’re not into the whole tee look, here’s the red, ruffle-sleeve blazer paired with just a plain black tank.

Flamingos & Frills

Flamingos & Frills

Just for the (frill) of it, I decided to mix two of my favourite things: flamingos, and frills. The result…a super adorable girly look that can either be dressed up or dressed down!

IMG_9102IMG_9107IMG_9111IMG_9118

Yet another flamingo print top! I just can’t stop, and I couldn’t resist the urge to scoop this one up from J-Crew (similar styles available). I always size down in clothes from J-Crew as I find they are very generous with their sizes. Since this is a comfy tee, I went with an xs, it’s loose yet still perfectly fitting! The fuchsia pink watercolour design and flamingos that form into a heart sold me right away. Priced at just $20 on sale how could I say no? I paired the top with a matching flourscent pink button down cardigan also from J-Crew (old style, similar here) to really tie together the look! With it being so warm outside and cold inside the office, adding a light, matching cardigan is the ultimate summer dressing hack!

IMG_9106IMG_9115

These gingham print frilled trousers from Top Shop were also spotted on Miley Cyrus during the One Love Manchester benefit concert.

ariana-grande-miley-cyrus-manchester-170604-inline_425ed53ce7c83523d366a43559bcb47e.today-inline-large

I have received so many compliments on them and with their loose fit and high waist, they are comfortable for everyday wear! I managed to score them, and the matching jacket (not pictured) majorly on sale during a promotional period online at Hudson’s Bay I got both pieces for under $50 (regular $80+ each).

IMG_9105

What’s a flamingo themed outfit without matching shoes? I ordered these online from ASOS for half price ($27.00)! I love the little detail of the flamingo with the sparkly gold hearts! It has a small heel so they’re comfortable but also gives you that little added height.

IMG_9103IMG_9101

Since I had both a loud print pant and top, I went with minimal accessories. I opted for a marble cat-eye lens sunglass (Quay Australia). The cay-eye, a popular trend in the 50’s and 60’s has made a big comeback in a very big way, and I’m loving it! These are my favourite brand of sunglasses right now, and while I usually order them online from ASOS when they go on sale, I managed to score these from my local Winners for only $16 (they’re listed at $81 on ASOS.) In keeping with the bright pink theme, I went with a matching Kate Spade purse for an added pop of pink (because you can never have too much pink, ever!)

IMG_9109IMG_9108

And of course, the cutest little addition to my outfit- my new Iced Tea Press from David’s Tea. This style is sold out online, but you can call your local store to have them check the irstock! It’s currently marked down from $30.00 to $19.00 and I’m already obsessed!

Trendsetters and Cocktails with Mapleview Centre

Trendsetters and Cocktails with Mapleview Centre

I was so fortunate to be selected to attend  the”Trendsetters & Cocktails” Event with Mapleview Centre to help them launch their Personal Styling Program. It was located in Burlington at Station Home, in the same plaza as Holland Park Garden Gallery. I had never been to this venue before, but will definitely be going back to. It was the perfect setting for a fun-filled stylish night. We were immersed in  beautiful decor and trinkets that were for sale if anything caught your eye. Upon entering the event we were welcomed and headed straight to the bar (of course). How could we not with beautiful signature sangria and cotton candy cocktails? The staff from Saving Thyme did an incredible job catering the event. They walked around with a beautiful array of appetizers as well as the delicious macarons and pumpkin cheesecake dip that was on the table (conveniently in the line for the fashion illustrations). There were also staff from Purdy’s Chocolatier dishing out the latest and greatest chocolates and everyone’s favourite Purdy’s chocolate hedgehogs.

image

image

After taking a look around at the venue, grabbing some tasty treats and admiring all the decor pieces we decided to get in line to get our fashion illustrations done. This was one thing of the night that I was most looking forward to. I was lucky enough to have got an illustration done for me ahead of time from one of the outfits I submitted for the contest. I just couldn’t resist getting another sketch done after seeing how adorable mine had turned out. Mike Hakk is one extremely talented Fashion Illustrator from Toronto and I give him so credit for hanging in there for over 2 hours doing none stop illustrations. I can’t wait to get my illustrations framed. I will definitely be following along with him and would love to have him do some more illustrations for me in the future.

image

image

image

(Seriously cannot get over the cuteness!)

After the excitement of getting our sketches done, we headed over to the DIY flower bouquet station. There was a huge assortment of fresh fall flowers to pick from and assemble courtesy of Blossoms of Burlington. There is nothing I love more than fresh flowers in your home, especially when you get to pick exactly how you want it to look! Thanks so much for providing the beautiful blossoms to all of us!

image

While we are on the subject of blooms… can we talk about this amazing flower wall? When I walked in and saw this, and, noticed that my outfit matched perfectly I knew it was going to make for a great photo okay, many photos. There was a station set up that would take your picture for you and you could email it to yourself to share on social media. I could have taken endless pictures with this wall, job well done!

image

image

While we are on the topic of my outfit matching the flower wall let me talk a little bit about the details of my outfit choice. Now while I considered going for a super fall look I’m glad I went with the outfit I did. I paired this beautiful pink Zara jacket with a floral skirt also from Zara, a basic lace-trimmed tank-top and some pretty amazing wedge heels. I kept accessories to a minimum and instead of doing my typical statement necklace, I opted for a pair of statement earrings. The pair I’m wearing are the double sided stud in silver from Obsessions Fashion. Obsessions is my go-to place for accessorizing my life, and they fit in perfectly with my affordable style. Check out their Instagram, they are always posting their newest arrivals and even hosting contests were you could win some great swag!

image

image

image

After being totally spoiled it just kept getting better. Caryl Baker Visage was doing get eyebrow makeovers which I think is great for everyone to get to learn how to do them and do them properly. Now while me myself didn’t get them done I was in line to get my hair braided from the lovely ladies at Clip Salon. After seeing everyone walking around with amazing on trend braids I had to get one done! With so many types to choose from I really liked the braid Krystin from Suburban Faux Pas had so they recreated one on me. I loved it so much I wanted to show it off at work the next day. It actually held in place so well and I got so many compliments on it, I think I’ll have to practice so I can do it myself.

image

image

Nearing the end of the night I got to chat with two of the winners of the personal styling program at Mapleview (@themintedmama and @thestylemogul), a huge congrats again to you two, and to @iamkhoule for taking 1st place in the contest, you go girl! I also got a chance to talk to Krystin, who is seriously the sweetest and one bad-ass fashion/travel/decor and beauty blogger. She is so knowledgable about social media and blogging and is truly inspiring. We share such a similar sense of style and I love following along on her page to see her latest finds and outfit stylings! We chatted for a while about it and she gave me some little hints on how to enlarge my audience, we even snapped a pic together- I think that got me some serious street cred in the blogger world!

image

Thank you so much again to Mapleview Centre and their marketing agency- Midfield Interactive for putting on one amazing event, and putting together such a great swag bag. I had such a great time and I hope to see some of those beautiful/inspiring faces again very soon!

Hope you come back and visit soon!

Reitmans Summer ’16 Collection

Reitmans Summer ’16 Collection

Reitmans Summer ’16 Collection

Summer is now well underway and I couldn’t be happier to style some of the season’s hottest trends. The temperatures are hot hot hot so I’ve rounded up some of my favourite looks that will keep you looking cool this summer. I’ll share with you some of my personal faves from Reitmans Summer ’16 Collection and definite must-haves to add to your wardrobe.  For clothes that are always on trend, comfortable, and won’t break the bank head on over to your local retail location or Reitmans.com

image

Today is the last day to enter to win a 7 night all-inclusive trip for 2 to Varadero, Cuba with accommodations at the beautiful Melia Peninsula Resort. I snapped my best summer ready looks with the hashtag #reitmansreally to be entered in the contest. Wish me luck, I could really use a getaway right about now! 🙂

Read about my featured looks below:

Nothing says summer quite like relaxing by the pool. Now add in sporting an adorable striped dress and straw hat into the mix with your favourite sunnies and you are owninh summer style 101.  I first saw this look on a display board in a Reitmans retail store and when I saw how Meghan Markle styled it I thought I would bring it home and try it out for myself, I love how comfortable and versatile this dress is! Just throw on and go!

What to wear to work can be a daunting task for some. Work-wear in the summer can be even worse. You have to be able to find the perfect balance of breezy materials that are still work appropriate. For me, I love to rock lots of white in the summer…while I still have the chance (I’m one of those that follows the no white after Labour Day rule…for the most part anyways.) I love adding fun pops of colours or patterns so these sateen cropped floral pants hit all the right marks. I am also always freezing no matter the season. Adding a classic white blazer on top of your summery tank is perfect for that over air-conditioned office.

IMG_8214.JPG

image

To complete my trendy office look I added a white blazer and white lace-up espadrille heeled sandals with some fun coloured lens sunglasses. Throw on a pair of classic white sneakers to take your style game to the next level once you’re off the clock.

Nothing says summer style quite like a cold-shoulder. I was so happy when this trend came back and I am truly a huge fan! When I saw the fun tropical print of this one from Reitmans I knew it was going to be a must-have addition to my summer wardrobe. I paired mine with white denim jean shorts to really make the patterned top pop. You could style it with blue jeans or even black, that’s another thing I love about it.

IMG_8222

I’ve always been a huge fan of rompers/jumpsuits, mostly for the fact that it’s just one article of clothing and you are done. There is no having to worry about matching, it’s uniformity is what makes it one of my summer go-to style picks.

IMG_8166

I kept this look simple and added some lace-up fringe heeled sandals and green lens Rayban aviators. I went with a braided low bun as the hot hot sun has been doing crazy things to my hair when it’s down. This is a perfect outfit for going out with friends. If temps drop over night, pair it with a white denim jacket and you’re set for the night!

I saved the best for last. I am in love, no, OBSESSED, with every part of this dreamy “sunset” maxi dress. This dress is part of collaboration Meghan Markle has done with Reitmans. When I first saw a picture from Reitmans Dress Capsule Collection I instantly fell in love with the palm-leaf print, flowy material and ohhhh, that open low back. This dress is the epitome of summer style whether you rock it at a summer wedding or on a vacation (here’s to keeping my fingers crossed for a sunkissed trip to Cuba.)

This is exactly how I feel when wearing this dress, like I could just float away into dream land!

IMG_7854

IMG_8228IMG_7866IMG_7864

I really couldn’t help but jump for joy in this dress. It just had me in the best summer mood!

IMG_7852

This is one dress that is sure to have the compliments rolling in and have you standing out for all the right reasons.

IMG_8229

I swept my hair up in a low bun and added plain black Rayban aviator sunglasses to keep the main spotlight on a dress that makes a statement all on its own.

OOTD: Wear to work wardrobe

OOTD: Wear to work wardrobe

I’m a sucker for florals and bright colours! When I found this skirt on sale for $12.99 at Bananna Republic it was an instant match made in heaven!

image

I paired it with a delicate lace tank with silver details from H & M, a maroon coloured blazer from Suzy Shier and my other favourite part to this outfit, THE SHOES!

image

I picked up these beautiful lace-up tassel block heels in cobalt blue from Winners (only $39.99.) They matched the skirt perfectly and added the perfect pop to complete my look!

I couldn’t resist twirling in this skirt and had a major Marilyn moment!

Fashion Fridays with Erica Wark

Fashion Fridays with Erica Wark

A few weeks ago I was beyond lucky to win a contest which entailed a $500 shopping spree with fashion expert and stylist Erica Wark at Bramalea City Centre!

FullSizeRender (39)

I love to shop and I love following along with Erica on Instagam, Twitter and her T.V segments so I knew I was in for a great day.

IMG_0025 (1)

IMG_0024

Of course I had to accessorize for spring shopping with this gorgeous spring necklace from Obsessions Fashion.

Erica and I started off in BCBG, which is somewhere I’ve always walked by and admired but never bought anything from. Erica asked if there was anything I was looking for in particular, but I couldn’t think on the spot. She started picking out some black blazers and then it reminded me that I was due for a new one. I usually don’t spend tons on blazers and have had the same one for a few years now so it was time to get rid of the old and in with the new! There were three different styles that Erica had me try on. One of my favourites was a Mackage inspired blazer with leather sleeves. However, I decided to be reasonable knowing the price of these blazers and opt for a classic black blazer that is more practical for my everyday life which I would wear to work. I also tried on some absolutely stunning shift dresses in this spring/summer’s hottest patterns and colours! After debating back and forth about one dress and the blazer we decided to put these items on hold and check out some other stores. Since BCBG was the first store we hit I didn’t want to spend all my money in one place, literally.

So off we went to H & M next. H & M is my go-to for not only trendy, in-style items but also affordable basics. There was a beautiful display at the front of the store with items from their summer collection. The vibrant hues and boho vibes were to die for! There were a few things that stood out to me right away but since I knew I would probably never get this opportunity again I let Erica take the lead to pick out items for me. And boy, was I ever happy that I did. On one of the mannequins was a red-y-orange dress with tassels on the sleeves. Never in a million years would I ever think to try this one on, let alone buy it! This was an item that I trusted Erica’s expertise on and decided to try it on. I don’t wear my close exceptionally tight but this dress is extremely flowy. I asked Erica’s advice about it and let me know that I was able to pull it off because of my height and figure. I’m so glad I trusted her advice with this one as I really went out of my comfort zone with it! I cannot wait to rock this dress for my Portugal trip at the end of the summer, I can tell you that this dress has Portugal written all over it (pictures to come of course!) Some other great advice I got while trying on some clothes was that again, because of my height and long-torso I can rock cropped jackets. I’ve always steered away from them all this time when really they are the perfect compliment to my body. I picked up two really great blazers for work, majorly on sale too!

Chronicles from the change room, SO much fun! The black lace off-the-shoulder top was one of my favourite pics from H&M.

Twinning in the changeroom!

Next we were off to Express. Erica went straight for the jeans. Oh the jeans!! Erica warned me that once I owned a pair of these they would change my world and I would fall in love. Once I tried them on I knew exactly why she had said that. They were so comfortable and looked like expensive designer jeans without the price tag! They go for around $78, but that day there was buy 1 get one 50% off, so of course I jumped at that opportunity. Erica picked out a few different styles and colours for me, but ultimately left it up to me for the colours as she said I know my wardrobe best. I went with a classic black skinny jean and a darker-wash of slightly ripped jeans. I am so so in-love, thank you Erica for introducing me to my new favourite pair(s) of jeans!

I rang through my other items at Express which was a basic three-quarter sleeve top that Erica also recommended as she has one and says she lives in it its so comfortable. After wearing it that night I went home I knew this was a great choice! I also picked up a reverisble tank top, they had a lot of different colours and patterns but I opted for vibrant flowers that reversed to black.

After cashing out at Express we totaled up my receipts while remembering my items on hold at BCBG. Because I had done so well at H & M and Express there was now  enough left for just the blazer.

After our last stop at BCBG with bags in tow, Erica and I got together for some pictures! I am such a fan of these pictures, they really encapsulate the day so perfectly.

I couldn’t not snap a pic of these amazing cut-out gold detailed heeled booties. I ordered these online from Forever 21 and was so glad I did as they sold out so quickly!

Thank you SO much to Bramalea City Centre for selecting me as the winner for this shopping spree and of course, Erica Wark for making the day so special!

Also, a huge thank you to Obsessions Fashion for making sure my accessory game was strong, as per usual!

Erica Wark- Shopping Spree Contest Entry

Erica Wark- Shopping Spree Contest Entry

What better way to step into spring than by winning a contest? Well, I am hoping to do just that. When I first saw the announcement from Bramalea City Centre of a contest for a chance to win a $500.00, two-hour shopping trip with fashion expert and stylist, Erica Wark I jumped at the opportunity. Winning this contest would be so special to me. It couldn’t have come at a more perfect time in the season as the transition to spring styles has official begun. I have such a passion for fashion and shopping and would love to be able to meet a true and local expert in the industry! I just know that I would have such an amazing time and would look forward to how much more I can learn about styling as well as blogging through Erica.

FullSizeRender (37)

I follow both Bramalea City Centre (bccstyle) and Erica Wark (ericaonfashion) on Instagram and Twitter (bccstyle) & (ericaonfashion) and love to keep up to date with their feeds! I also keep up-to-date with Canadian fashion and think it’s important to support or local fashion industry and surrounding community. I have been a huge fan of Erica’s for a long time now, and watch her segments on local broadcast stations such as CTV’s The Social, The Marilyn Denis Show and ET Canada. It’s so nice to see talented Canadians own what they love and share that love with others along the way! I started a fashion blog just like Erica did as a way of writing about what I love. Erica brings more than just stylish outfits to the table, she exudes confidence in everything that she does and you can really see her excitement shine through.

I have always been big into fashion myself, and more recently into photography, so I figured what better way to express my true self than by starting a fashion/lifestyle blog. My blog (Staffordable Blog) is actually a play on my last name (Stafford) mixed with affordable (I am a self-proclaimed affordable fashion finder.) Just ask anyone I know, they will tell you I’m all about finding great pieces and even better prices! It took me a while to come up with this name as I wanted it to be something that was really catchy and creative…this one definitely stuck. What really speaks to me is the way that Erica inspires us to branch out and look at and try fashion in unique ways. Erica is all about pushing the boundaries and having fun with fashion all the while helping us find our true-style.

Erica is a nationally renowned stylist and expert and TV personality. She is the creative and fashionable mind behind “Erica on Fashion” and coined the term “Wark-It”—which couldn’t be any more perfect!

LOOK-1-7-e1442250205869-570x380

I instantly started thinking of what sort of outfits I could put together that were “Wark-It”- worthy! After doing a little bit of browsing I was pleasantly surprised to see how similar Erica and my styles are! In fact, not only are there items that I have that I could recreate some of Erica’s looks, but I also came across a few exact outfits that we share! While some of my outfits are very similar (if not the same) as Erica’s you will also see some of my entries showcase some of my personal flair such as pops of colour or fun patterns!

Here’s my take on Erica inspired styling for the contest:

  1. Erica is all about shades of black and leather. So here’s my take for look number 1!

IMG_8466IMG_8460

Outfit Details: Faux-leather and suede dress (Reitmans), OTK Boots (CallitSpring) Geometric Statement Necklace (H&M)

2.  I went for an entirely different look for this entry! I opted for a blue and red checked wool coat and a pop of red with a thin scarf. I finished off the look with a cool pair of shades! IMG_8067IMG_8130IMG_8072IMG_8133

Outfit Details: Sweater (JoeFresh), Jacket and Scarf (Old Navy), Rayban Sunglasses (Winners), Jeans (Gap)

3. In true Erica fashion I went for a button-down suede mini-skirt and mock-neck cutout blouse! IMG_9025IMG_9026

Outfit Details: Button-down suede miniskirt (Express), Mock-neck Cutout Blouse (Forever 21).

4. This outfit was 100% inspired by Erica. I saw her post a picture in this awesome vest on Instagram so I just had to go online and order myself one! I paired it with faux-leather tights, strappy heels and funky shades to match her look! This may just be my new favourite work outfit this Spring!

5.  Yet another outfit I found while browsing Erica’s Instagram. I’m currently obsessing over this Willow and Thread tailored black vest (worn as a dress). You can take it from the office to a night out! IMG_9409IMG_9380

DIY- Sharpie Eyelash Nail Design

DIY- Sharpie Eyelash Nail Design

I’ve been seeing a lot of pictures and videos lately of Sharpie nail designs, so, I decided to put it to the test!

After a few failed attempts and a little research I was really happy with how they turned out!

How to:

Start off with whatever base coat you’d like. I went for a nude shade (Essence- available at Shoppers Drug Mart) so the black eyelashes would really pop!

Let your base coat(s) fully dry before attempting to draw with your Sharpie.

Draw your design, let it dry. If you make a mistake you can typically correct it with a bit of nail polish remover if caught early enough. If that doesn’t work, you may have to start fresh.

Before putting on the clear top coat,  use a gentle mist of hair spray over your nail design (be careful not to spray too much as it will make the marker run as well!) Allow this to dry. TIP: if you skip this step your design will run the second you try putting on your top coat, or eventually rub off if you opt out of the top coat altogether. It’s an extremely important step for this to work–trust me, I learned the hard way!

You can now paint over the clear top coat!

And…voila!

CHLOÉ LOVE STORY EDT- VIP BREAKFAST

CHLOÉ LOVE STORY EDT- VIP BREAKFAST

Now this post may be a little late, but I wanted to find the time to really sit down and focus on writing a great piece. It’s been a hectic couple of weeks at work!

Friday morning of the Valentine’s Day weekend I was invited by Dave Lackie to attend Wish Restaurant for the launch of Chloé’s Love Story Eau De Toilette perfume!

FullSizeRender (34)

I was lucky enough to be invited to the Clarins Beauty VIP dinner a few months back and had such a blast! So you can imagine my excitement when I saw a message in my inbox from Dave inviting me to this event! My first time at one of the events I was understandably a little nervous attending a dinner with complete strangers! Little did I know that once I got there I would feel extremely welcomed by individuals who love beauty and blogging just like me! I instantly connected with so many great individuals and continue to keep in contact with them over social media. It was really nice to be able to see friendly, familiar faces again at the VIP breakfast and catch up with everyone from the last event! When Dave plans an event you know it’s going to be nothing but spectacular!

Meeting Dave was the cherry on top of it all! I’ve been following Dave for years and always love his beauty segments on CityLine where he chats about the latest and greatest trends and innovations in beauty as well as beauty launches. The energy that Dave brings to everything that he does is extremely admirable and meeting him in person twice has been the greatest pleasure.  His smile and enthusiasm lights up the room!

IMG_6313

I’m so happy I decided to venture out and attend the event on my own, it’s been a truly amazing experience, thanks Dave!

Here’s my experience at the Chloé  Love Story EDT breakfast…

The second I walked up to the restaurant I instantly fell in love, and I hadn’t even stepped inside yet! My Friday morning was already off to a fantastic start, and it was only going to get better! I captured this picture quickly before going in and thought how fitting it was, seeing as it was Valentine’s Day weekend!

IMG_6127

I had never been to Wish Restaurant before and upon walking in the front entrance I knew it was going to be somewhere I’d have to come back to visit again. It had a very home-ie feel with white couches and beautiful wood grain floors (I could go on and on about the floors and decor!) Let’s just say that a few of us spent most of our time enjoying the decor and exceptional natural light shining in and used it as a photo shoot opportunity.

IMG_6949 (1)

When this is what you are first greeted with walking into the restaurant…you know it’s going to be a great morning!

Stopping to smell the roses (literally!)

When I walked into the seating area I was again instantly drawn to the delicate white decor, dim lighting and ghost chairs (I seriously need these in my life!) The seating was very intimate and just perfect for this event! There were red roses and lots of light pink decor spread throughout the restaurant which really set the tone for the Love Story breakfast in Paris theme.

I just couldn’t resist taking this picture with Vanessa (Cook & Contour), the lighting and the table was perfect!

Love Story Eau De Toilette

The star of the breakfast! This bottle is the newest member to join the Chloé fragrance collection. The beautiful undertones of “green floral” and “hints of orange blossom” is what makes it so great to wear every day. It’s a very romantic scent and isn’t overpowering.

I was so excited to find out that we were being gifted with a 50ML bottle (available @ Hudson’s Bay) of the new Love Story EDT perfume as well as a white leather pouch—I was even obsessed with the packaging, and I hadn’t even gotten inside yet!

I’ve never had Chloé perfume before, but I do know that the design of their bottles are typically very chic! This one hit chic right out of the park! The small gold handle folds down so you can remove the lid and enjoy! It is finished off with a small pale pink ribbon (how very Parisian!)

Among the beauty lovers and bloggers alike, I also had the chance to speak with Heather Josey—she also complimented me on outfit (major win!!!) Heather is the fragrance buyer for Hudson’s Bay here in Canada. She’s got such a nose for scents that she knew instantly that Love Story was going to be a hit! Talk about scent-sational!

The food, oh the food…

I went with the goat cheese arugula salad to start which was to die for! For my main dish I decided on the poached eggs with smashed avocados and goat cheese on gluten free rye bread! It was a three course breakfast (yes you read that correctly, three-course!) but I had to tap out after the second and not get dessert. Don’t worry; I certainly got my sugar fix from the fill your own candy bags before leaving the event!

Outfit Details:

I couldn’t attend a fabulous event without having an equally as fabulous outfit! I drew my inspiration from this outfit from a picture that I actually stumbled across from a Cosmo magazine with Lilly Collins. Lilly is wearing a similar coloured yellow sweater, large statement necklace, and of course the covetable Kate Spade skirt!

Emoji Pillows & OOTD

Emoji Pillows & OOTD

I found this fur vest at Winners and I just loved the hints of emerald that it has. It’s a beautiful colour and I pair it as if it was a black vest.

For this particular look, I paired it with a necklace from J-Crew which had different shades of blues and greens in it– to add some pop!

The emoji pillow, I just couldn’t resist! I found this at Urban Planet online for $10– it has since sold out! Seeing as this is one of my favourite emojis to use and Valentine’s is coming up, I knew it was a great purchase!
